Tricia Morrow has over 20 years of experience at General Motors and has worked within the Global Vehicle Safety, Global Electrical Controls and Software, Global Product Planning, and Global Advanced Vehicle Development Innovation organizations in a wide variety of roles. These include various safety related roles such as whiplash protection, safety and crashworthiness performance, and biomechanics. She was appointed to her current position within Global Vehicle Safety in July 2014. Morrow is responsible for safety strategy, leading the passive safety advanced portfolio of projects, and occupant performance. In this role she is also responsible for the design and performance of the industry first Rear Seat Reminder feature and leads GM’s Rear Seat Reminder safety strategy. Her team recently received the Boss Kettering Award, which is GM's highest award for recognizing technical inventions and innovations. Recognition of these accomplishments is intended to spur innovation and technology development. Morrow earned a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Purdue University, a Master of Science in Bio-Medical Engineering from Wayne State University, and a Master of Business Administration from the University of Michigan. She and her husband have two children and live in Grosse Pointe, Michigan.
